Mobile health screenings from UToledo Health in your northwest Ohio backyard
Community members of Toledo and the surrounding region can now access mobile screenings conveniently from the UToledo Health mobile health van. The mobile health unit will travel directly to the Toledo community, providing community members with convenient access to health services free of charge or at affordable costs, including:
- Health screenings and assessments
- Health education
- Social services and support
- Referrals to specialized care
The mission of the UToledo Health mobile health unit is to improve the human condition by expanding access to medical care. To do so, the mobile health van provides prevention, assessment and health education services to undeserved, socioeconomically disadvantaged individuals throughout northwest Ohio.
The UToledo Health mobile health unit is staffed by a nurse.
The 37-foot-long custom-built mobile clinic includes two exam rooms, a restroom and a small waiting area.
Accessing services at the UToledo Health mobile health unit
UToledo Health is committed to expanding access to healthcare in the Toledo community and surrounding region. Our goal is to provide care to every patient regardless of their ability to pay. To help facilitate this, ID and insurance will be collected from patients if they have it, but it is not required. Co-pays are also not required.

Schedule a Community Screening
UToledo Health is partnering with the Toledo-Lucas County Public Library, the YMCA of Greater Toledo, churches, community centers, nonprofits, workplaces and similar organizations interested in providing care to their communities.
