The University of Toledo Medical Center (UTMC) has been serving the healthcare needs of the Toledo community for the last 60 years.

Established in 1964 as a teaching hospital to train future medical professionals, UTMC is dedicated to providing academic based, high-quality patient centered care. We are  renowned for innovative and technologically advanced forms of treatment.

UTMC is the only hospital in Northwest Ohio that provides minimally invasive prostate cancer treatment utilizing high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU), deep brain stimulation (DBS) treatment for people with Parkinson’s disease and movement disorders, advanced robotic bronchoscopy for early detection of lung cancer, and a non-surgical option for mitral valve disease within the structural heart program.

UTMC is an academic medical center that is integrating innovative technology into individualized patient treatment plans with the goal of obtaining more positive outcomes and improving the patient experience.

We remain committed to providing healthcare to everyone regardless of their ability to pay and rely on the generosity of patients and the community to help support our mission.

As we focus on the future, we need your support today to continue to provide access to life-saving care for our community. Please help us support our community by making your donation online today.

To learn how you can join our philanthropic family and help make an impact, please contact David G. Zelenka, associate vice president of medical center advancement, by email or phone at 419.530.7965
