Patient Transportation 

We understand sometimes transportation may be a barrier to getting to your appointment, whether you’re not feeling well enough to drive, don’t have transportation resources or are experiencing other circumstances.

The Eleanor N. Dana Cancer Center is proud to offer limited patient transportation support thanks to generous support from Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield.

Transportation services are free of charge on a limited basis to select patients:

• Support is offered to patients approximately 20 miles from the cancer center.
• Support can be used one time per month, per patient.
• Support is available 8 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday-Friday. Transportation is not offered on holidays or weekends.
• Patients will be picked up from an agreed-upon location and will be returned to the same location.
• Patients may be accompanied by one companion.
