Join us for a free 60-minute orientation seminar. You'll learn more about nutrition, obesity and the surgical procedure we use. Seminars are the second Wednesday of the month at 5:00 p.m. as well as every fourth Saturday virtually at 11:00 a.m.. Please call us to schedule and get more information.

Individuals who are considering bariatric surgery must follow these steps:

Attend a seminar live online or in-person
Surgeon consultation.
Verify insurance coverage for sleeve gastrectomy surgery.
Complete a psychiatric evaluation.
Participate in a medically supervised weight-management program and document a one to five-year weight history.
Lab and imaging studies.
Pre-surgical consultations with a cardiologist, a pulmonologist, or other specialists may be necessary.
Obtain medical clearance.
