My Care Team
During your stay, a treatment team will work with you to develop and administer a treatment plan for your recovery.
Your team includes the following professionals:
Psychiatrist
A psychiatrist is a medical doctor who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of mental and emotional problems. The psychiatrist leads the team, directs and monitors treatment and coordinates your care with other team members.
Program Director
A program director oversees the daily operations of the inpatient unit and provides direct clinical supervision and training to the team members.
Social worker or family therapist
A social worker or family therapist provides group, individual or family therapy, and will be your advocate in planning your discharge from the hospital.
Nurses
A team of nurses implements, monitors and evaluates treatments and medications as prescribed by your doctor. Our nurses also provide information regarding educational support groups, as well as family and individual counseling.
Recreational therapist
A recreational therapist provides the education and tools necessary for stress management and for your return to normal, daily routines through activity and expressive therapy groups and individual interventions.
Mental heath aide
A mental health aide will assist you inn basic care needs and lend assistance as needed.
Other health care professionals, including physical therapists, nutritionists, physicians and additional medical specialists, may be involved in your treatment as needed. The treatment team evaluates and reviews your needs throughout your stay and will work with you to help you improve your life situation.
