How long will I stay?

Your treatment is individualized. Our treatment team will determine your length of stay by working with you to develop a discharge plan.

When will I see my doctor and therapist?

Your psychiatrist will complete an initial evaluation within 24 hours of your admission and visit daily. Your therapist will meet with you to develop a discharge plan and create a crisis safety plan for you.

When can I call my family and friends, and when can they visit?

Due to confidentiality, we usually do not take phone messages for patients. A phone is available for you to contact your family and friends. Visitation is available daily. Only visitors you approve will be allowed to visit.

Why can't I have all the items I brought?

Certain restrictions are placed on the allowed items. These restrictions are in place to prevent items that have a potential safety risk from being on the unit.
